
This is the BEST peanut hoisin sauce for rice paper rolls, spring rolls—you name it! Ready in 5 mins, this sweet and salty dipping sauce is packed with crunchy peanut.
Add the hoisin sauce, peanut butter, sesame oil and garlic into a small saucepan and gently simmer on the stove.
Stir through water a little bit at a time until the sauce has a glossy look and a smooth, slightly runny texture.
Taste test a few times and add more of any ingredient or water until you’re satisfied with the flavour.
Add the hoisin sauce, peanut butter, sesame oil and garlic into a small microwave safe bowl with around 1-2 tbsp of water.
Microwave in bursts of 15 seconds, for around 30-45 seconds until warm. Mix until smooth. Add more water 1 tbsp at a time and mix until you get the texture you prefer. Thick = Less water. Thin = More water.
