Cosmopolitan Cocktail

Combine the vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, and triple sec in a pitcher filled with ice. Stir well until chilled, then strain through a fine mesh strainer or slotted spoon into 4 martini or coupe glasses.

Use a vegetable peeler or paring knife to remove 4 strips of peel from the orange, avoiding as much of the bitter white pith as possible. Garnish each glass with an orange twist.
