Ingredients

  • ½ cupcornstarch or all-purpose flour
  • 1 largeegg
  • ½ tspsalt
  • ¼ tspblack pepper
  • ½ tspgarlic powder
  • ½ cupmayonnaise
  • ¼ cupsweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbspsriracha (to taste)
  • 1 tsprice vinegar or lime juice
  • 2 cupscooked jasmine or brown rice
  • ½ cupshredded carrots
  • ½ cupcucumber slices
  • ½ cupshredded purple cabbage
  • 2green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsptoasted sesame seeds
  • neutral oil for frying
