  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ cupall-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 2 tablespoonsunsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoonlemon juice, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoonchopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, or to taste
  • ½ teaspoonchopped fresh thyme, or to taste

    Rinse tilapia fillets in cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides of each fillet with salt and pepper.
