Cheesy hash browns are a creamy mixture of shredded potatoes, cheese, and cream of mushroom, baked into a delicious golden brown casserole. This hearty dish is great comfort food and can be served with breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Shredded hash browns (frozen or fresh)
  • 110.5 oz can Cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons Seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, unsalted and melted
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a baking dish (13x9) with nonstick cooking spray.

    Add your hash browns, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, seasoned salt, onion powder, and black pepper, minced garlic, and melted butter to a bowl. Stir this up until it is fully combined.

    Sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded cheese into the potato mixture, and mix it in until completely incorporated.

    Pour the hash brown mixture into the baking dish and spread it out into one even layer. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the top.

    Place the dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes until it is golden brown and bubbly. Serve right away, and ENJOY!
