This Olive Garden Creamy Mushroom Sauce for pasta is rich, savory, and full of flavor. It’s so close to the original, some say it’s even better than what you’d get at the restaurant!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoonsolive oil
  • 1 tablespoonbutter
  • 2 cupscremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 clovesgarlic (minced)
  • 1 cupheavy cream
  • ½ cupchicken or vegetable broth
  • ¼ cupparmesan cheese (grated)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • fresh parsley (for garnish (optional))

Directions

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown and soft, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

    In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the pan, then add heavy cream. Stir well and simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
