  • 2 largeeggs
  • 1 cupsugar
  • ½ cupbrown sugar
  • ½ cupvegetable oil
  • ¼ cupapplesauce (optional)
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 2 ½ cupschopped apples
  • ½ cupchopped nuts (optional)
  • 8 ozcream cheese
  • ½ cupbutter
  • 2 ½ cupspowdered sugar
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

    Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

    In another bowl, whisk eggs, sugars, oil, applesauce, and vanilla until smooth.
