Easy air fryer churros recipe is fried to perfection and coated in cinnamon and sugar. This delightful treat is quick and easy thanks to the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon (divided)
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 ¼ cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup Sugar

Directions

    In a small saucepan, add the water, butter, ¼ tsp of the cinnamon and salt.  Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil.  Then reduce the heat to low.

    Slowly add in the flour until a ball is formed.  Then remove the saucepan from the heat and cool for 5 minutes. Then add the eggs into the mixture one at a time and stir until they are all combined.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Attach a large star tip to a piping bag and spoon the dough mixture into the piping bag.  Pipe 3-4 inch long strips of dough onto the baking sheet (cut the dough with a knife or kitchen scissors).  Repeat the process until all the churros are formed.  Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes.

    Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F.  Remove the churros from the baking sheet and place them in the air fryer basket at least 1 inch apart.  Air Fry at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until the churros are golden brown.

    Then in a small shallow dish, combine the sugar and the remaining cinnamon.

    Roll the churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture while they are still warm.
