This Japanese-style cabbage salad is a healthy slaw with green onion and almonds tossed in a sweet dressing of sesame oil, rice vinegar, and ginger.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunchgreen onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cupalmond slivers
  • ¼ cuptoasted sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoonssesame oil
  • 3 tablespoonsrice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoonwhite sugar
  • 1 clovegarlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoongrated fresh ginger root
