Mix all ingredients together to make the soft dough in a heavy mixer.
This is easier to handle if you refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
Flour a cutting board., roll the dough out.
Cut with a fluted edged pastry cutter or use a circle cookie cutter.
Fill with a little bit of the jam.
Brush edges with egg wash.
Fold circle toward the center and pinch to form bows in the middle.
Bake at 400 hot preheated oven until set.
Around 10 to 15 minutes until slightly golden brown.
Cool completely on wax paper or parchment paper.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
