Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2-4 tablespoons yellow mustard, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 28-32 ounces frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3-4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Drizzle of ketchup and mustard

    Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.

    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion for 8-10 minutes or until the meat is browned. Break the beef up with a wooden spoon as it cooks, and stir often.

    Add the garlic, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, and diced pickles. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Taste and adjust as needed.
