This hashbrown casserole is quick and easy comfort food made with oven-baked cheesy potatoes in cream of chicken with a crunchy cornflake topping.

Ingredients

  • 1package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cupsshredded cheddar cheese
  • 1container sour cream
  • 1 cupbutter, melted, divided
  • ½ cupchopped onion
  • ½ teaspoonsalt
  • ½ teaspoonground black pepper
  • 1 cupcrushed cornflakes

Directions

    Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

    Mix hash browns, Cheddar cheese, condensed soup, sour cream, ½ of the melted butter, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Transfer mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.

    Sprinkle cornflakes on top, then drizzle with remaining melted butter.
