Sesame Oil Noodles are simple and refreshing! Somen noodles are seasoned with sesame oil and sesame seeds to make a "very Hawaii" dish that is most tasty at room temperature. Enjoy this as a wonderful side and pair with vegetables and/or protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 packagesomen noodles (8-9 ounces)
  • 3 tablespoonssesame oil
  • 1 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 1 teaspoonkosher salt
  • ¼ cuproasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoonschopped green onions

Directions

    Bring a big pot of water to boil over high heat. Add the somen noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes (follow the cooking time instructions on the package). Drain the noodles and quickly rinse with cool water. Drain again and place the noodles in a big serving bowl.

    Drizzle the sesame oil on top of the noodles. Mix, mix, mix.

    Add the soy sauce, salt, sesame seeds, and green onions. Mix, mix, mix.
