Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. carrots (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions

    Place the carrots in the slow cooker.

    Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg. and salt.

    Pour in the water and stir.

    Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
