A mimosa is a drink consisting of sparkling wine and orange juice. Ree’s mimosa bar is a deconstructed version of the drink, with a variety of different fruit juices in pitchers and two bottles of fizz in an ice bucket, so that guests can choose their favorite flavors and make their own drinks.

Ingredients

  • 1 small grapefruit, sliced into thin half-moons
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • One 12-ounce jar maraschino cherries
  • Two 750-milliliter bottles Champagne or prosecco
  • 12 ounces each grapefruit, pomegranate, pineapple and orange juices, chilled

Directions

  1. 1

Thread the fruit onto cocktail skewers to make decorative skewers, placing them on a small serving platter.

  2. 2

Put out the sparkling wine and juices for the guests to DIY their own mimosas: Pour the sparkling wine into a Champagne flute until it is two-thirds full. Fill the glass with the desired juice and top with a skewer.
