This egg custard pie is an old-fashioned recipe with a bit of milk and flour stirred into the custard, making it denser than a traditional custard.

  • 1 cupwhite sugar
  • 1 cupmilk
  • ¼ cupbutter, melted
  • 2 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoonground nutmeg
