Easy Swiss Chicken Stuffing Casserole

This casserole will hit the spot when you're craving a delicious cozy meal that's simple to whip up!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 1/2 cups broth (divided, regular or low sodium)
  • 1 1/2 tsp flaky poultry seasoning (optional (1/2 tsp if using ground))
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup (regular or low sodium)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (regular or light)
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3 cups herb seasoned stuffing
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350℉.

    To a 13"x9" baking dish, mix together chicken, 1/2 cup of the broth, poultry seasoning and garlic (if using). Once combined, spread in an even layer in the baking dish.

    In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup of the broth and sour cream. Once combined, spread in an even layer on top of the chicken.

    Add an even layer of Swiss cheese slices on top.

    In a large bowl, fold together the melted butter, herb seasoned stuffing and the remaining broth. Distribute the stuffing mixture evenly on top of the cheese.

    Bake 30-35 minutes or until the mixture is bubbling at the edge and the stuffing is golden brown. Cool 5 minutes prior to serving.
