If you’re looking for a healthy, protein-packed snack that’s easy to make and delicious, try this Simple Homemade High-Protein Granola.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder (your favorite brand)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 3 tablespoons oil

    Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees F.

    In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Stir well to combine, until all of the mixture looks wet.

    Transfer mixture to a large baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. If not using parchment paper, just spray the sheet pans with cooking oil.

    Pack the mixture down to about 1/4-1/2.” This allows the mixture to roast evenly and gives the bottom a little crisp. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

    Once the granola is done baking and golden in color, remove the tray from the oven and let the granola cool completely.

    Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
