Our hearty, delicious, smoked pulled pork chili is perfect for any night of the week! One of my favorite ways to use leftover pulled pork!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups smoked pulled pork
  • 4 cups beef or chicken stock
  • 4 ounces beer (blonde ale, preferred)
  • 1/4 cup masa
  • 3 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 whole jalapeno (stem, seeds, and membranes removed)
  • 1 whole green bell pepper (diced, stem and seeds removed)
  • 1 medium yellow onion (diced)
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 1 15 ounce can navy or cannellini white beans (drained)
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro
  • 6 ounces tortilla chips (crushed)

Directions

    Add the pulled pork, water, beer, masa, cumin, garlic and onion powder, and oregano to the pan. Bring up to a simmer.

    Add the sliced jalapeno, bell pepper, onion, Rotel, and salsa verde.

    Continue simmering until the vegetables are soft.

    Taste, and add salt if necessary.

    Add the white beans and cook for another 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and garnish with your favorite toppings.
