- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2/3 cup cornmeal
- 1/3 cup masa harina
you can substitute all-purpose flour if you don't have masa
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
or gluten free flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
beaten
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 6 tablespoons butter
melted
- 2-1/2 cups grated cheddar
Colby or Monterey Jack cheese, divided
