Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

Take your spinach artichoke dip to the next level with four types of melty cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (8-ounce) can diced water chestnuts, drained (optional)
  • toast points or sliced vegetables, to serve

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

    2. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, garlic, basil, garlic salt, salt and pepper together in a medium bowl or mixing bowl with paddle attachment.

    3. Add artichoke hearts and spinach; gently stir. Add in the water chestnuts, if using.

    4. Transfer the mixture to baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.

    5. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly and lightly browned on top, about 25 to 35 minutes.

    6. Serve with toast points or sliced vegetables (including jicama, an unsung hero) or as a grilled cheese sandwich.
