Vietnamese Peanut Dipping Sauce

This super easy peanut dipping sauce is made with only four ingredients. Not just for spring rolls. You can also use it for noodles, grilled meats, or salads.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup hoisin sauce
  • ⅔ cup boiling water (or coconut soda)
  • 2 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice or vinegar
  • crushed roasted peanuts, for serving ((optional))
  • sriracha, to taste ((optional))

Directions

    Boil water on the stove or in the microwave.

    In a medium mixing bowl, add boiling water, peanut butter, hoisin sauce, and lime juice (or vinegar). Mix until well combined. [Note: The sauce will thicken up as it cools down. Add more water, if needed, to reach your desired consistency.]

    Spoon some into individual dipping bowls. Garnish with crushed roasted peanuts and sriracha.
