About this Recipe

Craving that vibrant, intensely flavorful Thai Basil Chicken you usually get from your favorite takeout spot? This Blackstone Thai Basil Chicken recipe brings all those authentic tastes right to your backyard griddle, making a restaurant-quality meal quicker than ordering delivery. Get ready for a delicious, spicy, and aromatic dish that's perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an impressive weekend meal.

The genius behind this recipe lies in its ingenious adaptation of a classic stir-fry onto the Blackstone griddle. By cooking everything at once, you achieve incredible efficiency and evenly distributed heat, resulting in perfectly browned ground chicken and beautifully caramelized vegetables. This griddle technique locks in moisture and develops complex flavors, setting it apart from traditional pan-fried versions.

Prepare for a dynamic sensory experience where savory, umami-rich notes from the oyster and soy sauces beautifully intertwine with the bright, peppery aroma of fresh Thai basil. You'll enjoy tender, well-seasoned ground chicken mingling with slightly crisp shredded carrots and sweet, tender diced onion, all punctuated by a lively kick from fresh red chili peppers. Served traditionally over fluffy jasmine rice with a perfectly fried egg, this main course offers a satisfying blend of textures and deeply authentic Thai-inspired flavors that are both comforting and exciting.

This recipe is wonderfully adaptable to your pantry and preferences. Don't have red chili peppers? A serrano pepper or two will provide a similar heat. While oyster sauce is key to its depth, you can use mushroom soy sauce for an even richer, umami flavor, or a touch more regular soy sauce in a pinch. For a different protein, consider ground pork or turkey. Finish your rice bowls with optional sriracha for more heat, a sprinkle of sesame seeds for texture, or a creamy drizzle of yum yum sauce.

This quick and incredibly flavorful Blackstone Thai Basil Chicken is ideal for busy weeknights when you need a satisfying meal fast, or for casual gatherings where you want to impress with minimal fuss. Serve it generously over steaming jasmine rice, topped with a fried egg, for a complete and utterly delicious rice bowl experience.
