Bruschetta in the form of a spread for crackers. Soft cheese topped with tomatoes, fresh basil and a balsamic reduction.

Ingredients

  • Alouette Cheese with herbs
    1
  • tomatoes
    ½ c
  • fresh basil
    ¼ c
  • Balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
    2 tbsp
  • Pita chips

    crackers or thinly sliced baguette

Directions

    Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate, or small platter. Leave about a 1/4 inch around the edge empty and clean.

    Evenly sprinkle and spread the tomatoes over the cheese, then the fresh basil.

    Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the whole plate. A little goes a long way. My favorite balsamic glaze is from Trader Joe's. You can find it in any grocery store next to the salad dressings or vinegars.

    Eat with Pita chips, crackers or spread on thin sliced of baguette.
