  • Alfredo sauce
    ½ c
  • mozzarella cheese
    1 ½ c

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to get it ready for baking the casserole.

  2. 2

In a deep 9×13 inch baking dish, place the dry penne noodles evenly.

  3. 3

Pour the beef stock (or water) over the noodles, then stir gently to make sure the noodles are well covered with the liquid.

  4. 4

Place the frozen meatballs evenly on top of the noodles and liquid.

  5. 5

Pour the marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce over the meatballs and noodles, then stir gently to cover everything evenly.

Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the pasta is tender and meatballs are heated through.

  7. 7

Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the hot casserole to cover completely.

  8. 8

Cover the dish again and return to the oven for 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.

  9. 9

Let the casserole sit on the counter for a few minutes to set before serving. Enjoy warm.
