Easy Salisbury Steak with Gravy Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lblean ground beef
- ⅓ cbread crumbs
- 2 tspketchup
- 1 tspmustard
- 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
- ½ tspgarlic powder
- ½ tsponion powder
- 2 packetBrown Gravy Mix
- 2 chot water
- 1 tspketchup
- 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
Directions
- 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Use your clean hands to mix everything thoroughly so the bread crumbs bind the ingredients well. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a firm, compact patty.

Heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook until the beef is no longer pink in the center, flipping once to ensure even cooking. This should take about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, reduce the heat to low.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix, hot water, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour the prepared gravy over the cooked patties in the skillet. Allow the gravy to come to a gentle simmer over low heat. If the gravy thickens too much, stir in 1/4 cup of additional water to reach your desired consistency.

Let the patties simmer in the gravy for a few minutes to absorb the flavors and warm through. Serve the Salisbury steaks warm, ideally over mashed potatoes or your preferred side dish.
