  • soy sauce

  • cornstarch

  • vegetable oil
    2 tbsp
  • boneless

    skinless chicken thighs

  • ground black pepper
    ¼ tsp
  • garlic
    4 clove
  • apple cider vinegar
    1 tsp
  • sesame seeds
    1 tbsp
  • Sliced scallions

    Whisk together the chicken stock, honey, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a medium liquid measuring cup. Set aside.

    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil, then the chicken pieces, in a single layer. Sprinkle the salt and pepper evenly over the chicken. Cook for about 5 minutes, until golden brown. Flip each chicken piece, reduce the heat to medium, and cook for another 5 minutes until no pink pieces remain.

    Add the garlic, stir, and cook for 2 more minutes.

    Pour the soy sauce mixture into the pan and stir well to combine, scraping up any brown bits. Bring to a low boil, then cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 to 2 more minutes until the sauce coats the chicken bites. Stir in the apple cider vinegar.
