Crispy dill pickle chicken sliders layered with a tangy, spicy dill pickle ranch, crunchy lettuce, and soft potato buns. Bold, messy, and packed with briny flavor in every bite. Think of this as the spicy, tangy, cool-ranch cousin to your favorite fast-food sandwich—but better. Because we're making it at home, and it's big enough to feed the whole crew in one go.

  • American cheese slices

Directions

Make ground chicken cutlet

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. 2

In a bowl, mix the ground chicken with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until just combined.

  3. 3

On parchment, press into a thin rectangle large enough to match your bun layout. I like to do about a quarter inch larger than the buns so there is some over hang.

  4. 4

Lightly dust with flour, brush with egg, then coat fully in panko, pressing gently to adhere.

  5. 5

Spray generously with avocado oil until fully coated. Flip and repeat on the other side.

  6. 6

Transfer to a sheet pan and bake for 15 minutes, then broil for a few minutes until golden and crispy. Every broiler is different, so keep an eye on it! Mine takes 5 minutes but it can be done in 1-2 minutes if you have a strong broiler.

Make the sauce

  1. 1

Mix mayo with pickle juice, hot sauce, chopped pickles, and seasonings. Taste and adjust until creamy, tangy, and slightly loose.

Assemble

  1. 1

Place 4 buns attached, then 2 next to them to form one slab. Slice horizontally.

  2. 2

Layer: bottom buns, sauce, crispy chicken cutlet, more sauce, pickle slices, shredded lettuce, optional American cheese, top buns.

  3. 3

Slice into 6 and serve immediately.

We've taken the beloved crispy chicken sandwich and elevated it with bold, briny flavors and a kick of spice that's utterly irresistible. Perfect for game day, a fun family dinner, or whenever that fast-food craving hits, these sliders are packed with personality and incredibly satisfying.

What makes these spicy pickle chicken sliders truly special? It all starts with the incredibly crispy ground chicken patties, coated in crunchy Panko breadcrumbs, ensuring a satisfying bite every time. Nestled in soft Martin's potato buns, they’re topped with fresh shredded lettuce and melty American cheese, creating that familiar, comforting base.

But the real showstopper here is our signature Spicy Pickle Ranch. This creamy, tangy sauce combines the zesty punch of pickle juice, the fiery warmth of hot sauce, and the irresistible crunch of finely chopped dill or bread & butter pickles, all blended with smooth mayo, garlic, and onion powder. It’s a flavor explosion that perfectly complements the savory chicken, making each bite wonderfully messy and unbelievably delicious.

Tips for Perfection:

  • Customize the Heat: Feel free to adjust the amount of hot sauce in your Spicy Pickle Ranch to match your preferred spice level.
  • Pickle Power: Whether you opt for dill or bread & butter pickles for the sauce, make sure they’re finely chopped for the best texture and flavor distribution. A handful of fresh dill (optional) adds an extra layer of herbaceous freshness.
  • Crispy Chicken Every Time: Using avocado oil spray for your chicken patties helps achieve a golden, crispy exterior without deep frying.

These crispy chicken sliders are designed for sharing and enjoyment. Prepare them for your next gathering and watch them disappear!
