Ingredients
- 1 lbground chicken
- 1 tbspneutral oil
- 1 smallyellow onion finely diced
- 3 clovegarlic minced
- 1 tbspfresh ginger minced
- 1 cmushrooms finely chopped
- 1 ccanned water chestnuts drained and diced
- 3 tbsplow sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsphoisin sauce
- 1 tbsprice vinegar
- 1 tbspbrown sugar packed
- 1 tspsesame oil
- 1 tspchili garlic sauce optional
- 4green onions thinly sliced
- 1 headbutter lettuce leaves separated and washed
- 1 tbspsesame seeds

Prep the lettuce by separating the butter lettuce leaves, rinsing them gently, and patting them dry. Arrange on a platter and keep chilled.

Heat the neutral oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the ground chicken, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until no longer pink and most of the moisture has evaporated.
