About this Recipe
Indulge in Our Creamy, Flavorful Rasta Pasta!
Looking for incredible dinner ideas that are bursting with flavor? Dive into our mouthwatering Rasta Pasta recipe! This vibrant and creamy dish is a true comfort food masterpiece, guaranteed to become a family favorite. If you're ready to cook dinner with me and elevate your weeknight meals, this is the perfect recipe to try.
What makes our Rasta Pasta truly special? It starts with tender, perfectly seasoned chicken breast, marinated and cooked to juicy perfection with a blend of Old Bay, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. We then toss it with al dente penne pasta and a rainbow of sautéed bell peppers—red, green, yellow, and orange—adding both crunch and a beautiful visual appeal.
The star of the show is undeniably the rich, velvety sauce. Crafted from heavy cream, half & half, aromatic garlic herb butter, and a generous blend of mozzarella and fresh Parmesan cheese, it creates an irresistible base. The signature jerk flavor comes alive with two packs of jerk seasoning. While Walkerswood is a fantastic choice, we've found that a good dry rub from your local grocery store works wonderfully as an alternative, ensuring everyone can enjoy this FY (for your feed!) worthy dish.
Tips for the Perfect Rasta Pasta:
- Season generously: Don't hold back on seasoning the chicken – it's key for deep flavor.
- Bell Pepper Power: Sauté your bell peppers until tender-crisp for the best texture and vibrant color.
- Cheesy Goodness: Freshly grated Parmesan cheese melts beautifully into the sauce, adding a gourmet touch.
Serving Suggestions: This creamy Rasta Pasta is a meal in itself, but it pairs wonderfully with:
- A simple side salad with a light vinaigrette.
- Garlic bread or crusty artisan bread for soaking up every last drop of that amazing sauce.
- Steamed green beans or broccoli for a touch of freshness.
Get ready to impress with this easy-to-make, incredibly delicious Rasta Pasta. It's the ultimate blend of spice, creaminess, and hearty ingredients that will have everyone asking for seconds!
