
Recipe: Sesame Ginger Slaw
Ingredients
- ⅓ crice vinegar
- 1 tbsphoney
- 1 tbsptamari or soy sauce
- 1 tbspsesame oil
- 1 tbspfresh ginger
- 1 clovegarlic
- ½ tspkosher salt
- ¼ tspground black pepper
- 3 cred cabbage
- 3 cgreen cabbage
- 1 ccarrots
- 4 mediumscallions
green parts only
- ½ cfresh basil leaves
plus more for garnish
- 2 tbspblack sesame seeds
plus more for garnish
Directions

Make the dressing: Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and whisk to combine.

Make the slaw: Add the 2 cabbages, carrots, scallions, basil, and sesame seeds to the bowl of dressing and toss to combine. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight to allow the flavors to meld. Garinsh with the more basil and sesame seeds.

Make ahead: The dressing can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Rewhisk before using.Storage: Leftovers will keep for up to 3 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
