- 4precooked sausages

- 2cans white beans
15-oz.
- 2 clovegarlic
- ½onion
- 3 mediumcarrots
- 2celery stalks
- 2 sprigfresh thyme
- 2bay leaves
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 clow-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cwater
- ½ lbkale
cut into bite-sized pieces
- Freshly grated Parmesan
