- 4 cfresh or thawed blackberries
- 2 call-purpose flour
- 1 csugar

- 2 tspbaking powder
- ½ tspsalt
- ½ ccold butter
- ¾ cmilk
- 1 tspvanilla extract

Preheat Traeger or conventional oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.

Toss blackberries with 1/4 cup sugar. In a separate bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly, then stir in milk and vanilla to form a soft biscuit batter.

Pour the berries into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.

Drop spoonfuls of biscuit batter over the berries evenly, leaving small gaps for juices to bubble.
