White Pizza Dip
Ingredients
- 2 csour cream
- 1 cwhole-milk ricotta cheese
- 1 cpart-skim mozzarella cheese
divided
- ¼ cpepperoni
- 1envelope Lipton savory herb with garlic soup mix
- French bread baguette slices
Directions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a small bowl, stir together the sour cream, ricotta cheese, 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella, chopped pepperoni and soup mix until well blended. Editor’s Tip: Let the sour cream and ricotta sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before mixing. It’ll help take the chill off so they blend smoothly.
- 2
Spread the creamy mixture in an even layer in a greased 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top. Editor’s Tip: Use the back of a spoon or a small offset spatula to smooth the top of the sour cream mixture so the dip heats evenly.
- 3
Bake the dip, uncovered, for 35 to 40 minutes until it’s hot and bubbly and the cheese on top is lightly golden. Serve the dip warm with toasted baguette slices or other dippers. Editor’s Tip: If you’d like the top to be a bit browner, switch the oven to broil for the last minute or two—just keep a close eye on it so it doesn’t overbrown.
