Directions

Meat sauce

    In a Dutch oven, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and cook 2 large onions (finely diced) until translucent.

    Add the 8 cloves garlic (minced) and cook for 30 seconds.

    Add 2 pound ground beef, and brown.

    Add 48 ounces marinara saucesalt and pepper and Italian seasoning to taste, mix well.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Pasta

    Cook 1 pound dry ziti pasta until al dente and drain. Set aside for assembly.
