Sweet, savory, a little spicy... this one hits every note. Tip: Best served with with chicken, shrimp, or tofu 🫔

Ingredients:
-1 large onion, thinly sliced
-4 garlic cloves, minced
-2 tbsp chili crisp
-1 cup of cream or coconut milk, room temperature
-1 tbsp soy sauce, optional
-1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
-8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice
-2 tbsp butter
-1 tbsp olive oil
-Seasonings (1 tsp each): paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, italian seasoning

1. Slice your onion like it owes you money, mince that garlic (use fresh please), and measure out all your seasoning. Bring a cup of cream or coconut milk to room temperature.
2. Heat 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium. Add in the onions and let them vibe for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and jammy. If they start sticking, hit ā€˜em with a splash of water.
3. While your onions are caramelizing like sweet little angels, boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain, but don’t forget to save some of that pasta water, it’s liquid gold.
4. When the onions are deeply golden, stir in your minced garlic and all the seasonings. Let it all bloom for a minute, then add the chili crisp and saute for a minute. Pour in your cream (or coconut milk). Let it simmer and get cozy for a few minutes then add the grated Parmesan cheese.
5. Add your pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Use that reserved pasta water to loosen things up if it’s too thick… you’re going for silky, not sticky.
6. Serve hot with an extra spoon of chili crisp on top for a spicy kick and maybe a sprinkle of fresh parsley if you’re feelin’ fancy.

Prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable culinary journey with our Caramelized Onion and Garlic Spaghetti! This highly sought-after recipe brings together a harmonious blend of sweet, savory, and a delightful spicy kick that will have everyone asking for seconds. It's truly a fan favorite for a reason.

The magic begins with perfectly caramelized onions. Slowly cooked to a jammy, golden perfection, these sweet jewels form the rich, deep flavor base of the sauce. This patient process is essential, transforming simple onions into an incredibly complex and irresistible foundation for your creamy pasta.

Next, fresh minced garlic and a generous dose of vibrant seasonings like paprika and Italian seasoning are introduced, blooming in the pan to release their aromatic essence. The star of the show for that delightful heat is chili crisp, which infuses the sauce with a warm, complex spice. A luxurious blend of cream (or coconut milk for a dairy-free option) and grated Parmesan cheese then creates an incredibly silky, decadent sauce that clings perfectly to every strand of spaghetti. Don't forget that saved pasta water – it's your secret weapon for achieving the ideal restaurant-quality consistency.

This Caramelized Onion and Garlic Spaghetti is incredibly versatile. While it shines on its own, it pairs beautifully with grilled chicken, sautƩed shrimp, or roasted tofu for a complete and satisfying weeknight dinner. Serve it hot with an extra dollop of chili crisp for those who love an added spicy kick, and perhaps a sprinkle of fresh parsley if you're feeling fancy. Get ready to experience a pasta dish that hits every single note!
