These irresistible Crack Burgers are a guaranteed hit for any burger lover, packed with savory bacon, crispy textures, and melty cheese. Plus, they’re incredibly easy to prepare, making them perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a weekend cookout.
Cook the bacon on the griddle or skillet, or in the oven until crispy. Once cooled, chop into small bits.
Mix the beef, sour cream, ranch dressing powder, crumbled bacon, and cheddar cheese in a bowl. Make sure not to overmix the ingredients, otherwise they become dense.
Divide the mixture into 3-5 burger patties, depending on how large you want to make them. Form the burgers, pushing down slightly in the center to prevent swelling. Season the outside with Canyon Crust Beef Seasoning on all sides. Place the burgers on a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
Set the griddle to medium heat and toast the buns first. Add the burgers to the griddle, pressing down in the middle slightly. Sear the first side for about 5 minutes until crispy, and flip. Turn down the heat slightly and sear the second side of the burgers. Cook until your preferred doneness. (Optional) Add your slices of cheese to the burgers at this time so they melt.
Serve the burgers with your choice of toppings such as BBQ ranch dressing, homemade sweet & spicy pickles, or slices of raw onions.
