Crescent rolls filled with taco meat, cheese, and sauce, baked until golden. Quick, flavorful, and family-friendly.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and allow to preheat.
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet and separate into individual triangles.
Spread a thin layer of taco sauce over each crescent triangle. Place 2 tablespoons of warmed taco meat onto the wide end of each triangle.
Cut each pepper jack cheese stick in half and lay one half on the wide end of every triangle. Roll each crescent around the cheese and filling, starting from the wide end.
Transfer the assembled crescents to the oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow tacos to cool briefly, then garnish with sour cream and fresh cilantro if desired before serving.
