About this Recipe

Craving that signature restaurant-quality steak experience right in your own kitchen? This Gordon Ramsay steak marinade recipe is your secret weapon for a truly flavorful and juicy steak, elevating your dinner with ease.

The magic lies in a perfectly balanced blend of ingredients. Tangy balsamic vinegar helps tenderize the meat, while savory soy sauce adds umami depth. Dark brown sugar provides a hint of caramelization, beautifully complemented by fresh rosemary, pungent garlic, and a touch of red pepper for a subtle kick that brings all the flavors together. This combination ensures your steak is infused with incredible taste, from edge to edge.

Prepare yourself for a steak that is remarkably tender and bursting with complex flavors. You'll taste the bright acidity of the balsamic, the deep savoriness of soy, and a pleasant sweetness from the brown sugar, all underscored by aromatic rosemary and garlic. The red pepper adds just enough warmth to create a truly memorable bite. This marinade works its magic over a longer period, resulting in a deeply absorbed, succulent flavor that sets it apart.

While this marinade shines with a classic 12 oz steak, feel free to experiment with other cuts like flank, sirloin, or even chicken or pork chops for equally delicious results. If you're out of fresh rosemary, dried rosemary can be used in a pinch, but reduce the amount slightly. For an extra layer of spice, a pinch more red pepper can be added.

This versatile steak is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. Serve your flavorful steak alongside a fresh salad, roasted potatoes, and tender asparagus for a complete and satisfying meal that will impress.
