Directions

Korean BBQ Beef

    Slice 48oz skirt steak once against the grain, then toss into a slow cooker.

    For the marinade, add 5 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp gochujang, 3 tbsp mirin, 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp garlic purée, 1 tbsp ginger purée, and black pepper to taste into the slow cooker and mix well to combine.

    Cook on low for approximately 6 hours or on high for approximately 4 hours, until the meat is tender and falls apart easily.

    Once cooked, shred the beef apart with a fork or chop it with a knife.

    Stir in 4 tbsp oyster sauce and 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil after shredding the beef for best flavor.

Spicy Cream Sauce

    In a bowl, combine 200g nonfat skyr or Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp gochujang, 2 tsps chili crisp, and salt and pepper to taste.
