Peach Salsa Recipe

Peach Salsa Recipe

The peaches were delicious in this salsa. I like that peach salsa is a little less acidic than a regular tomato salsa. Not only is it really good as an appetizer with tortilla chips, it's also really good as a topping for fish or pork; who would have thought? ;)

Ingredients

  • tomatoes

    diced

    1 lb
  • bell pepper

4 oz, seeded and finely diced

    1
  • jalapenos

    seeded and finely diced

    2
  • onion

    finely diced

    1 medium
  • peaches

    diced

    1 ½ lb
  • cilantro

    chopped

    ½ bunch
  • lime juice
    2 tbsp
  • salt
    ½ tsp
  • freshly ground black pepper or to taste
    ¼ tsp

Directions

  1. 1

Chop tomatoes and transfer them to a large bowl.

  2. 2

Finely chop seeded bell pepper and jalapeños. Finely chop onion and transfer all your veggies to the bowl.

  3. 3

Dice the peaches. I liked the slightly larger dice for peaches to give them more of the center stage in this salsa. No need to peel them. You won't notice the peels and the color is prettier with the peel on. Transfer peaches to your bowl.

  4. 4

Add 1/2 bunch chopped cilantro, 2 Tbsp lime juice, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Add more salt and pepper to taste if desired. Fold everything together until well mixed and enjoy!

About this Recipe

Ready for a refreshing twist on classic salsa that’s perfect for dipping or elevating your main course? This vibrant Peach Salsa recipe offers a delightful balance of sweet and savory, a true crowd-pleaser that brightens any table.

What makes this salsa truly special is the star ingredient: ripe, juicy peaches. You'll find it offers a wonderfully less acidic profile compared to traditional tomato-heavy salsas, making it uniquely refreshing. It's not only fantastic with tortilla chips, but it also shines as an unexpected, bright topping for grilled fish or roasted pork, truly expanding your culinary horizons.

Prepare for a burst of fresh flavors and textures in every scoop. You'll taste the natural sweetness of the peaches harmonizing with the garden-fresh tomatoes, bell pepper, and a subtle kick from the finely diced jalapenos. The finely diced onion and fresh cilantro add aromatic depth, all brightened by a generous squeeze of lime juice. This salsa delivers a beautiful balance—sweet, tangy, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting, creating a truly memorable experience that complements a wide array of dishes.

You have full control over the spice level in your peach salsa. Feel free to adjust the amount of jalapenos to your preference, or even remove all the seeds and membranes for a milder version. If you love a stronger citrus note, a little extra lime juice can brighten the flavors even further, while an additional pinch of salt or freshly ground black pepper can perfectly balance the sweetness of the peaches.

This versatile salsa is ideal for summer gatherings, backyard barbecues, or any occasion where you want to impress with fresh, seasonal flavors. Serve it generously with your favorite tortilla chips, or spoon it over grilled white fish, pan-seared scallops, or tender pork chops for an unforgettable meal.
