
The Ultimate Classic Chili
Ingredients
- 2 tbspolive oil
- 20 ozlean ground beef
- 1yellow onion
- 1jalapeno
- 1 candark kidney beans
- 2 canpinto beans
- 1 canblack beans
- 1 cancorn
- 1 largecan crushed tomatoes
- 1 cangreen chiles
- 2 tbspcumin
- 2 tbsppaprika
- 1 tbspsmoked paprika
- 1 tbspgarlic powder
- 1 tbsponion powder
- ½ tbspchili powder
- 2 tbspsalt
- 2 cbroth
- hot sauce
Directions

In your dutch oven or large pot you will make the chili in, heat the olive oil and cook the beef until it is browned. Remove the beef and set aside for later.

Add the rest of the olive oil in the pot and cook the onions and jalapenos until translucent.

Add in your cans of beans, corn, and chiles. Stir and add in your spices and salt. Stir again.

Add back in your meat and can of crushed tomatoes. Stir to combine. Then pour in your broth over top. Give it another stir, cover and let simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Add in your desired amount of hot sauce, stir and serve. My favorite toppings are avocado, Greek yogurt or sour cream, green onion, cilantro, and jalapenos. Maybe even some cornbread on the side!
