Bolognese
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ lbGround beef
pork or Lamb
- 5 ozPancetta
- 2 tbspOlive oil
- 1Yellow onion
finely chopped
- 2Garlic cloves
minced
- ½ tsporegano
- 2 sprigThyme
stems removed
- 2 tbspTomato paste
- 3 cPassata
tomato sauce
- 1cube Beef stock dehydrated
- Salt and pepper
- 1 lbspaghetti
- Grated parmesan for serving
- Parsley or basil

Using the Fusion Master Mincer with fine mincer disc, mince chosen meat and pancetta into a medium bowl.

Heat oil in the Universal Cookware 4L Stockpot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and minced meat. Cook for 2-3 min. until meat has browned.

Add herbs, tomato paste, passata, beef stock cube, salt and pepper. Bring sauce to a boil, reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for 20 min. or until sauce has reduced.

While sauce is simmering, add spaghetti to the Microwave Pasta Maker, add water to corresponding water level and microwave for 15 min. at 1000 watts. Allow to rest for 4 min., drain and stir through 1 ladle full of the sauce.

Serve pasta with Bolognese sauce, top with Parmesan and fresh parsley or basil.
