Customization & Variations
You can easily tailor these bars to your preference or dietary needs. For a delicious gluten-free chocolate bar option, simply swap the all-purpose flour for ¾ cup almond flour or 1 cup of a gluten-free 1:1 blend for the crust. If you're out of vanilla bean paste, pure vanilla extract works perfectly as a substitute. Feel free to experiment with other nuts like walnuts or a mix of nuts if you wish, or even add a pinch of cinnamon for an extra layer of warmth.
These Salted Chocolate Pecan Bars are ideal for holiday gatherings, potlucks, or simply as a special weekend indulgence. Serve them alongside a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream or a dollop of freshly whipped cream for an even more luxurious dessert experience.
