Ingredients
- 1 pound rigatoni
cooked according to package directions
- 4 cloves garlic
finely chopped
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons vodka
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 shallot
thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon calabrian chili oil
- 1 bunch basil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- To TasteSalt and black pepper
Directions

In a skillet with oil, add garlic and shallots. Stir and let sweat for 1-2 minutes. Next, add your tomato paste, vodka, chili oil, chili flakes and heavy cream. Mix well to form your sauce. Add your pasta in and stir. Then add butter and parmesan. Adjust with pasta water if needed. Remove heat and toss in basil. Serve!
