About this Recipe

Craving tender, flavorful BBQ chicken without the fuss of a grill? This Baked BBQ Chicken Breast recipe delivers all the smoky, sweet, and tangy goodness straight from your oven, making weeknight dinners incredibly simple and delicious.

What makes this recipe truly special is its balance of simplicity and deep flavor. By combining a robust spice rub of smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and white pepper, you create a savory foundation that perfectly complements your favorite BBQ sauce. This method ensures every bite is infused with flavor, creating moist and juicy chicken every time.

Expect perfectly cooked chicken breasts, enveloped in a beautifully caramelized and savory crust. Each slice reveals succulent, tender meat bursting with that classic barbecue taste you love. It's a comforting yet satisfying meal that feels both familiar and incredibly satisfying, all while being remarkably easy to prepare.

Feel free to customize this dish to your liking. While large chicken breasts are specified, you could use boneless, skinless chicken thighs for an equally delicious, perhaps even juicier, result (though cooking time may vary slightly). For an extra layer of heat, a pinch of cayenne pepper can be added to the spice rub. If you don't have avocado oil, a neutral oil like olive oil works just as well.

This versatile baked chicken is ideal for family dinners, meal prep, or whenever you need a quick, crowd-pleasing main course. Serve it alongside creamy mashed potatoes, a crisp coleslaw, or a vibrant green salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
