    sliced into strips

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg

Directions
