About this Recipe

Craving a warm, comforting bowl of ramen but short on time? This Easy Homemade Ramen recipe delivers rich, authentic flavors in under 25 minutes, transforming your kitchen into your favorite ramen spot for a truly satisfying weeknight meal. The magic lies in building a robust, flavorful broth base quickly. We start by sautéing aromatic garlic, ginger, and mushrooms in sesame oil, creating a deeply savory foundation. This technique ensures an umami-packed broth that elevates your ramen far beyond instant seasoning packets, all ready to delight everyone at the table in just 23 minutes. You'll be greeted with a steaming bowl of bold and flavorful broth, fragrant with fresh aromatics, underpinning tender ramen noodles. Each spoonful offers a harmonious blend of savory notes, complemented by juicy sliced grilled chicken, earthy mushrooms, and the fresh bite of baby bok choy and green onions. The creamy richness of a soft-boiled egg ties it all together, making for a hearty and customizable dinner experience that feels both comforting and surprisingly easy to achieve. This Easy Homemade Ramen is incredibly versatile, making it perfect for customizing. Feel free to swap the grilled chicken for your preferred protein. While chicken stock is recommended for its savory depth, you can certainly use a broth of choice, such as vegetable broth, for a different flavor profile or to make the dish vegetarian (by omitting chicken). Adjust the salt and pepper to your taste, and remember the baby bok choy can be chopped or left whole for varying textures. This quick and easy homemade ramen is an ideal dinner for any night of the week, offering maximum flavor with minimal fuss. Serve each steaming bowl hot, garnished generously with fresh green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an extra layer of flavor and visual appeal.
