peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 ½ tbspolive oil
divided
- 1 tspgarlic powder
- 1 tspkosher salt
- 1 tspground black pepper
- 1 tspsugar
- 3 mediumsweet potatoes
cut into chunks
- 1 largesweet onion
