Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    plus more to taste
  • 2 tbsp. packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
    plus more to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves

    crushed

  • 1/2 medium yellow onion

    thinly sliced

  • 3 lb. boneless

    skinless thighs or breasts
